Captain Brett Genoble, a native of Montville, New Jersey, USNA Class 1985 with a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. Early tours; Instructor at the Nuclear Propulsion Training Unit, Division Officer and Operations Officer- USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul (SSN 708), Engineer Officer - USS Cincinnati (SSN 693), Fleet Liaison Officer at Naval Reactors, Submarine Detailer at the Bureau of Naval Personnel, Executive Officer - USS Hyman G. Rickover (SSN 709), and Flag Secretary to Commander, SIXTH Fleet. Captain Genoble’s First Command, - USS Albany (SSN 753) in June 2002 and was awarded the COMSUBRON SIX Battle Efficiency “E” award for calendar year 2004. September 2008, Captain Genoble assumed command of Submarine Squadron ELEVEN, homeported in San Diego, CA, where he is responsible for the mission readiness of seven submarines, a floating Drydock and three torpedo weapons retrievers and their crews. He also serves as Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet Representative West Coast.
