The San Francisco Council hosted CDR Nathan Martin USN Commanding Officer USS San Francisco SSN-711 at a cocktail reception at the Marines Memorial Club last night along with LTJG Minks, Engineering Officer and Petty Officer Second Class Marks who was just awarded “Junior Sailor of the Year”

CDR Nathan Martin and his team were in town for a visit to California Maritime Academy, the NROTC unit at Berkeley and ther NJROTC Unit at Buton high School in San Francisco  to provide a presentation to the cadets at these two universities and High School.

 
Additionally CDR Martin and the Crew made a presentation of a special "USS San Francisco SSN-711" embroidered blanket which was produce by the Family Support club of the Wife’s of USS San Francisco.
